WHY I DO THIS
My name is Zuzana Schrammová.
I believe life deserves to be lived fully.
In horses, I work to encourage curiosity, confidence, participation, true balance, and bright eyes.
In riders, I work to develop awareness, understanding, responsibility, feel, and the willingness to grow.
The work of Full-Life-Horses is built on three things:
Life.
Truth.
Potential.
Respect nature.
Seek what is real.
Take potential seriously.
That is why I do this.
Success is intense involvement with each present moment.
Horse.
Rider.
Truth.
No system replaces seeing clearly.
No method matters unless it creates change.
No theory is worth much until it works in practice.
LEARNING TO SEE
My work has been shaped by years of deep study of Classical Portuguese Horsemanship, Rider Biomechanics, Relational Horsemanship, the nature of horses -- and Life itself.
I studied deeply because I wanted more than techniques.
I wanted to understand what creates balance.
And grace.
What creates confidence.
And exuberance.
What creates trust.
What actually helps the horse.
And rider.
My education was not confined to round pens and riding arenas.
It came through wild horses, back-country, injuries, tai chi, risk, failure, discipline, and the stubborn belief that I could learn anything if I stayed with it intensely enough.
That belief taught me how to learn.
And learning how to learn taught me how to teach.
Horses, skiing, martial arts, biomechanics, classical work, and Working Equitation are not separate to me.
They are all studies of the same thing:
attention, awareness, willingness to keep seeking, surrender, courage, softness, strength, and the ability to stay present under pressure.
The teachers shaped my eye, my feel, and my understanding.
The horses taught me what was true.
WITH GRATITUDE
I have been fortunate (means: I stubbornly sought these people out with more intensity than was probably sensible) -- to spend real dedicated time with teachers whose work transformed how I see horses, riders, and the training.
These were not passing influences, books on a shelf, or one-time courses. These people know me, challenge me, and profoundly shape my eye, my feel, and my standards.
I am especially grateful for the work and teaching of Manuel Jorge de Oliveira, Christina Wunderlich, Josh Nichol, Frank Grelo, and Mary Wanless.
I carry their influence with honor and respect — the responsibility to keep seeking, keep practicing, and keep serving the horse.
The goal is not control.
The goal is a rider whose horse is alive, aware, capable, and willing to stay connected.
A horse who can be ridden without losing himself.
A horse and Rider engaged in a Full Life.
