WHY I DO THIS
My name is Zuzana Schrammová.
I believe life deserves to be lived fully.
In horses, I work to encourage curiosity, confidence, participation, true balance, and bright eyes.
In riders, I work to develop awareness, understanding, responsibility, feel, and the willingness to grow.
The work of Full-Life-Horses is built on three things:
Life.
Truth.
Potential.
Respect nature. Seek what is real.
Take potential seriously. That is why I do this.
LEARNING TO SEE
My work has been shaped by years of deep, intensive study of Classical Portuguese Horsemanship, Rider Biomechanics, Relational Horsemanship, the nature of horses -- and Life itself.
I studied deeply because I wanted more than techniques.
I wanted to understand what creates balance.
And grace.
What creates confidence.
And exuberance.
What creates trust.
What actually helps the horse.
And rider.
My education was not confined to round pens and riding arenas.
It came through wild horses, back-country, discipline, and the stubborn belief that I could learn anything if I stayed with it intensely enough.
That belief taught me how to learn.
And learning how to learn taught me how to teach.
The teachers shaped my eye, my feel, and my understanding.
The horses showed me what was true.
Lou, a horse started and developed by me - second year of training.
WITH GRATITUDE
A continuous thread connecting timeless European traditions with the practical wisdom of North American horsemanship,
rooted in the real science of rider biomechanics.
I spent real, dedicated time with teachers whose work transformed how I see horses, riders, and the training.
These were not passing influences or weekend clinics -
I stubbornly sought out these people with more intensity than was probably sensible.
My education is built on that direct foundation:

...an unbroken lineage through generations... a continuous thread ... from classical European masters François Baucher and Nuno Oliveira, through Manuel Jorge de Oliveira ... joining seamlessly with the grounded, feeling-based wisdom of North American horsemanship and the modern science of biomechanics.
No theory is worth much until it works in practice.
I don't just name these paths; I am a living continuation of those threads.
I carry the Masters' influence with honor and respect —
the responsibility to keep seeking, keep practicing,
and keep serving the horse.
Success is intense involvement with each present moment.
Horse.
Rider.
Truth.
No system replaces seeing clearly.
No method matters unless it creates change.
The goal is not control.
The goal is a rider whose horse is alive, aware, capable, and willing to stay connected.
A horse who can be ridden without losing himself.
A horse and Rider engaged in a Full Life.
